Food classics

Great that you are interested in dining with us at Lådfabriken.

We prepare and serve dinner for our overnight guests throughout the year, usually at 7.30 pm. Dinners are available when pre-booked at least one day in advance.
At Lådfabriken, dinner is about more than food alone. The house is filled with collected porcelain, colours and objects gathered over time, making every table setting slightly different and personal. In the same way, no two menus are ever quite alike.

Our menus follow the seasons, the catch of the day and the finest ingredients available around us. As part of Bohuslän — a region deeply shaped by fishing and the sea — we naturally focus on locally caught fish and shellfish. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements. We are also happy to prepare vegetarian and vegan dishes for both dinner and breakfast.

Each menu includes a starter, main course, dessert and coffee. Before dinner, we invite you into the living room for a small bite before taking your place at the table.

Below you will find a selection of our food classics:
– Fish soup, Lådfabriken style, or cured salmon, fresh fish of the day, coffee and pie — 545 SEK
– Fresh crayfish cocktail, fresh fish of the day, coffee and pie — 595 SEK*
– Fish soup or cured salmon, crayfish, fresh fish of the day, coffee and pie — 695 SEK*
– Fish soup or cured salmon, fresh crayfish as the main course, coffee and pie — 695 SEK*
*Prices may vary depending on the catch of the day and seasonal availability.

Besides our classics, we also have a few seasonal specials: oyster evenings from autumn until early summer, lobster suppers during the lobster season (September through November), and our own version of a Christmas table — the “Skal-Julbord” — before and during Advent.

Lådfabriken holds a full licence to serve alcoholic beverages and offers a carefully selected wine list, with wines chosen to accompany both the food and the season.

Let us know your choices and we will gladly prepare a truly memorable evening of food for you.

Welcome to our table,
Johan and Marcel
